Bachelor´s degree in Political Science from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
I work as a Researcher for the SURGES Project funded by USAID, focused on improving the ecosystem of sustainable markets in seven states in Mexico´s south-southeast region. I conduct research based on federal and local institutional and regulatory environments and on the characteristics of the cocoa, coffee, honey, and sustainable tourism markets in order to promote actions and partnerships between the public, private and social sectors that improve sectoral regulations.
Previously, I worked as a Research Analyst for the CEO of Grupo de Economistas y Asociados/StructurA (GEA/StructurA) and as the Deputy Manager of Policy Evaluation at the Consejo Nacional de Evaluación de la Política de Desarrollo Social (CONEVAL), generating useful evidence and insights for the continuous improvement of the operation of social programs and government actions.
I´ve participated as a volunteer in the digital platform Kathedra.org researching and generating useful content in science, education, and art and also as a pollster in CONEVAL to collect information related to socioeconomic conditions of Mexican households at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I have various courses related to qualitative and quantitative policy analysis.
