Investigador Public Finance Coordinator
He has a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Master's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Since 2012 he has collaborated at IMCO, where he currently coordinates the Public Finance area to enhance the use of public resources at the federal, state, and municipal level.
With over a decade of experience, he has led multiple projects, such as the State Competitiveness Index and various budget information and public spending indices. Currently, his research focuses on analyzing public finances at both the federal and subnational levels. Additionally, he closely monitors the country's leading financial indicators through the "Hacienda en la Mira" project.
He represented IMCO in the Collective for a Sustainable Budget –a group of civil society organizations specialized in the analysis of various dimensions of the public budget– and in the Competitiveness Working Group of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
His experience and knowledge in public finance reflects in numerous interviews and articles published in prestigious media such as Letras Libres, Animal Político, Alcaldes de México, Alto Nivel, and Este País, among others.
