I collaborate in the IMCO economics area, specifically in the SURGES project funded by USAID
which is focused on improving the ecosystem of sustainable markets in the south-southeast of
Mexico.
Before IMCO, I carried out research related to innovation, food systems, and sustainability, in
institutions such as Instituto Politécnico Nacional, El Colegio de Veracruz, UNAM, and the
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. I have also worked in administrative areas of government
institutions such as the Secretary of Communications and Transportation and the General
Coordination of Social Communication of the State of Veracruz.
I have a doctorate in Sustainable Regional Development from the Colegio de Veracruz, a master´s
degree in Business Administration for Sustainability from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and a
degree in Business Management from the Universidad Veracruzana.
