Isabel Madrazo

Chief of Staff

At IMCO, Isabel previously coordinated the subcontract for the USAID-funded SURGES project for nearly two years. This project focused on improving the sustainable markets ecosystem in seven states across Mexico’s southern and southeastern region. She is currently IMCO’s Chief of Staff. In this role, she oversees strategic initiatives, leads efficient management of potential and ongoing projects, and serves as an advisor to the Executive Director.

Isabel holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Language and Culture from Copenhagen Business School and a master’s degree in Social Development Practice from University College London.

Before joining IMCO, she was a visiting researcher in gender studies at King’s College London and served as Coordinator for the State Security Secretariat and Civil Force work area within the Ni Un Feminicidio Más project, also funded by USAID. Additionally, she has volunteered with the United Nations World Food Programme in Lebanon and is a member of the Chevening Alumni Mexico network.
