She has worked at IMCO since 2014, where she has been a researcher in sustainable development and a project monitoring and control consultant.
His main research topics are health, environment, energy, and economical municipal and urban development. Ivania's leadership has allowed the development of research on obesity, clean energy, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the 2030 agenda. She has generated alliances with academic centers to develop municipal and competitiveness indicators. Furthermore, she’s an expert in statistical and econometric analysis. She was an advisor to the Audit Committee of CFE: Supply of Basic Services and as a consultant for various civil society organizations.
She’s co-author of the study “The puzzle of Financial Inclusion in Mexico: A Closeable Gap?” published by the Center for Global Development. She has published various articles on health, inequality, urban development, among others. Similarly, lectures on competitiveness, energy, and data collection and analysis methodologies.
