Valentina Muñoz

I am a researcher in the Economics department, where I work on international trade, energy, and public finance. Before joining IMCO, I worked as a journalist at The Washington Post and as a research assistant in the Political Science Department at my university.

I hold a degree from ITAM. My career has developed at the intersection of research, public policy analysis, and journalism, with experience spanning trade, migration, security, and politics.

In my free time, I enjoy running and practicing yoga. I'm passionate about reading, art, live music, and sailing.
