Verónica Palacios

I work in the Accounting and Administration area of the Mexican
Institute for Competitiveness, where I have been working for 8 years.
My job is to perform the activities inherent in accounting, compliance
with tax and labor obligations, as well as administrative issues such as
treasury and collection, billing of donations and consulting and
research services, and financial reporting.
Prior to IMCO, I worked at Despacho Godoy Novoa y Asociados, S.C.,
in charge of the financial accounting and fiscal part of different
transfers of natural and legal persons. I also worked in Galaz, Gómez
Morfin, Chavero, and Yamazaki (currently Deloitte) in the
accounting/fiscal area and financial audit.
​​I am a certified public accountant, graduated from the National
Polytechnic Institute, and have attended several tax update workshops
and reading and writing workshops by Ibero-American University.
I enjoy reading and getting to know the beaches of Mexico.
