Andrea Villegas

Researcher in Government Administration

Bachelor degree in International Relations from Tecnologico de Monterrey. 

 

She has worked at IMCO since 2023 in research related to anti-corruption, public procurement and institutions. Her performance has allowed the continuation of public policy analysis projects close to governments at the federal and local levels. Furthermore, she has worked on improving public procurement practices in Mexico, particularly within the health and infrastructure sectors. Additionally, she collaborates with projects by the World Economic Forum in Mexico as a partnering institution, and conducts research on bilateral topics with the US-Mexico Foundation.

Before joining IMCO, she served as a cultural mediator at Casa de México in Madrid and contributed to cultural affairs at the Peruvian Embassy in Mexico City.
